Easter break and beyond

Well this is truly a difficult time for all of us and writing this message as we come towards Easter is usually full of joy and good news.

We are experiencing life as never before.

My simple message to mark the end of the spring term is everyone is terribly missing St Agnes – only when we are away from something for some time do we really appreciate what it means. For me, St Agnes is a place that is full of life, learning and love. Children come to St Agnes because they love to learn, learn to do well and live well together. Seeing it empty is very hard and saddening.

However, we have to remain positive – EVERYONE is doing their very best to make the best of the situation! I love seeing the work that is being put up by our staff for pupils to do; talking to our SLT and safeguarding team I have found out the wonderful conversations they have had with families; people helping each other out with trying new things including exercising in fancy dress!

As Easter is upon us I urge all of us to take a little time, rest, recover, reconnect with loved ones and enjoy new life that is all around us like flowers starting to blossom in my garden.

There are plenty of suggestions and tips for families to work on in our class pages during the holidays if you are stuck for something to do.

Teachers will start putting specific learning activities when the holidays finish on Monday 20th April.

Happy Easter everyone.

Stay safe. Keep well.

Thank you.
