Just to let you know that St Agnes will be open for learning as usual during the planned NUT strike on Tuesday 5th July 2016.
Thank you
Ms Rose
For World Book Day 2016 all pupils contributed towards a St Agnes’ book showcasing their favourite aspects of books, be it a story, poem, passage, fiction or non-fiction on a class page each. This has been collated and made into one HUGE book for everyone to enjoy and celebrate, not just for a day but for always.
Please do come along and take a peek at our book – it will be near the fish tank and you really can’t miss it because it is very, very big!
Our second Book Fair has just been and gone but what an amazing turnout we had. We generated over £1300 which then means as a school, we could purchase more books for our school upto the value of £786!
This can only be achieved with the support and generosity of our parents and carers, as well as the enthusiasm and energy of our pupils. All the staff are very proud and would like to say a very big thank you to everyone!
Below are some of our pupils’ amazing work promoting the book fair for which they each received a £5 voucher to buy…books!
