We learnt about Chinese New Year and how it is celebrated. We had lots of fun making Chinese Lanterns and Chinese Dragons. On Tuesday many parents stayed for our Chinese New Year Parent Craft Morning, where we listened to the Chinese New Year Story and completed challenges based on the Chinese Zodiac Story.
This week in Nursery we will continue our theme of Fantasy and Adventure through the story of Peter Pan. In Literacy we will be reading the story through out the week, looking at the characters and the setting. This week in Maths we will be focusing on number recognition and counting objects. We will be making character hats and helping Captain Hook to find treasure. On Friday afternoon, we will finish our work on Peter Pan by heading to Neverland with Disney’s Peter Pan!
