Good Morning!

Today is Tuesday… Can you remember what sound the word ‘Tuesday’ starts with?

Let’s start the day with the months of the year song- Can you remember what month your birthday is in? How old will be you be on your next birthday?

 

Phonics:

For today’s phonics we want you to look at the letters in the bubble below.

You need to make as many CVC words as possible using the letters in the bubble. You can only use each letter once!

The pictures are clues for some words that you could make with the letters.

Note: A CVC word is a word that is made up of a consonant, vowel and consonant sound. Cat, hot, tip, man and hut are all CVC words.

COMPETITION TIME!

This is the final week before half term. During half term many of you will be celebrating the festival of Eid with your families. To celebrate we would like you to design a poster for the celebration. Send a picture of your poster to admin@st-agnes.manchester.sch.uk by Friday and we will announce the winner on the school website. Good Luck everyone- and have fun!

What your poster should include:

  • Lots of colour!
  • Pictures and symbols relating the the festival of Eid
  • Facts about Eid
  • Your name
