Nursery Daily Learning 20/05/20

Rise and shine everybody!

Are you ready for a day of learning?

Let’s start the day with a wake up, shake up

Phonics:

Can you match the picture to the correct CVC word? Remember to sound out the letters and then blend them together to find out what the word says. Get a grown up to help you if you are finding it tricky!

Maths:

Yesterday we had a look at numicon to help us with our counting… today we are going to look at the different ways we can make 10 with numicon:

Health and Wellbeing:

Today we would like you to find a photograph of somebody who is special to you.

  • Think about why are they special.
  • Think about how we should treat people who are special to us.
  • Think about what ‘important’ means
  • Think about how you can show somebody you care about them

An example: Here is a picture of me and my younger brother, Cason. He is special to me because he is part of my family and he makes me smile everyday! I show Cason I care about him by telling him that I love him and by taking him on day trips to his favourite places- like the zoo!

Try really hard to show your special person how much you care about them today!

Literacy/ Religious Education:

COMPETITION TIME!

This is the final week before half term. During half term many of you will be celebrating the festival of Eid with your families. To celebrate we would like you to design a poster for the celebration. Send a picture of your poster to admin@st-agnes.manchester.sch.uk by Friday and we will announce the winner on the school website. Good Luck everyone- and have fun!

What your poster should include:

  • Lots of colour!
  • Pictures and symbols relating the the festival of Eid
  • Facts about Eid
  • Your name

Communication and Language:

Get talking!

Have a lovely day everybody!
