Parent Meetings and Harvest Assembly

Parents’ Evening for parents of children in Key Stage 1 and Early Years is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Please checked your preferred day and time slot on the boards in the small hall or Nursery door or confirm with your child’s class keyworker that you can make the allocated time slot.

The appointments will last for 10 minutes and your child’s keyworker will share current targets for your child and how they have settled into the Nursery. This will also be a chance for you to ask your child’s keyworker any other questions you may have. We cannot emphasise the importance of all parents and carers attending these meetings. Links with home and school can be the key for your child’s success, so please ensure you sign up to all sessions.

If you have more than 1 child in school please see all of the teachers as we can arrange a small gap between appointments for your children and prevent any unnecessary waiting times.

Please see staff as soon as possible, if you’re unable to attend so we can rearrange your appointment to a more convenient time.

On Friday, we will be taking part in our Harvest Assembly. We are asking all children to donate a tinned food item, pot noodle or boxed cereal for our homeless charity. We hope our collection will be just as good, if not better, than previous collections as we have seen a significant growth in homeless in the city.

Don’t forget we break for half term on Friday and school will re-open on Tuesday 1st November.

Many thanks,

The Nursery Team
