Good morning Reception! I hope you’ve been enjoying the sunny weather and had a fanastic half term.

Are you ready to do some learning?

Let’s start with a Wake Up, Shake Up.

It’s the start of a brand new half term and a new month. Can you tell me what month it is? Sing the Months of the Year song to help you remember.

You’re right! It’s June.

Let’s do our Daily Maths Meeting:

Can you do 26 jumps?

Can you tell me what the temperature is? Is it warmer or cooler than yesterday?

Literacy:

Let’s start by practising our handwriting. In your home learning pack you should have a sheet that looks like this:

Practise your handwriting and try and remember to hold your pencil correctly.

This half term we will be looking at the story How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers. Listen to the story below:

Today we will be lookig at the sounds: ‘or’, ‘ur’ and ‘oo’
