Good morning reception!
Can you tell me what day it is today? Let’s begin with a Days of the Week song:
It’s Wednesday 3rd June. Do you know what day and date it will be tomorrow ?
Remember, when we use numbers in the date we say:
First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth
These are ordinal numbers.
Can you say all the ordinal numbers ?
Can you say them from First to Tenth in the correct order ?
Let’s do a Wake Up, Shake Up to get our bodies moving:
Let’s start with our handwriting sheet from the home learning pack:
Can you remember the title of the story we will be reading this half term?
Listen to the story again and think of actions to do for each word/action. Perhaps you could draw a picture for each word, in your workbook.
Today we will be looking at the sounds: ‘air’, ‘ure’ and ‘er’
Can you find them on the sound mat?
From your home learning pack, can you complete the following worksheet. Fill in the missing sounds.
Let’s begin by completing an a doubling worksheet from our home learning packs:
Remember to complete the doubling worksheets too:
My bean plant has grown taller and flowered. Is your bean plant growing ? Has it flowered yet ? What do you think will happen next?
