UPDATE due to a YR5 football match with Longsight Community Primary the basketball will not now start until until the 12th October!
Starting next week on Thursday 5th of October pupils from yr3-6 will be given the opportunity to learn how to play basketball with our very own British Basketball qualified coach Mr Lammas, who will be delivering their new “Slam Jam” coaching programme. Pupils will have the opportunity to earn merit points and stickers, which will qualify them for their own “Slam Jam ” T-shirt and certificate. Hopefully, later on in the school year we will compete against other local schools in a citywide championship. You never know we may well have our own Russell Westbrook (NBA MVP 2017)

Anyone wishing to develop their basketball skills outside of school or play for a local team them we are extremely lucky to have the Manchester Giants right on our doorstep.
The Giants have a community basketball coaching session at the Wright Robinson Ball Zone at Wright Robinson College.
Manchester’s professional basketball club are offering top-class coaching and games for children of all ages and abilities.
Come down and improve your skills and have fun with your friends.
