Hello Sufyaan. I am very glad you were up and ready. As you love your fitness and sports, give Joe Wicks a try in the mornings at 9am and let me know how you get on!

Fazal is struggling with English on question c & maths question b. If you could kindly help please. Thanks.

    • Miss Ryan Posted 23rd March 2020 6:46 pm

English question c is looking for a preposition to explain where coral is in relation to the Red Sea. Appropriate prepositions for here could be under or beneath.

For Maths, question b is using concrete apparatus to help with the question. If you have 5 ten sticks and 8 one cubes, what would you need to remove to find the answer?

      Hope that helps Fazal! πŸ™‚

It’s on the second page Q1 “which calculation is the odd one out”?

        • Miss Ryan Posted 24th March 2020 12:53 pm

Apologies, I was looking at the first page! When working the answers out some of the calculations will need the inverse operation to find the missing number. 3 of the answers can be found using the same operation. The odd one out will be the one which uses a different operation. In this case they are using either addition and subtraction:-)

Thanks for ur help Miss Ryan, we finally figured out the answer today, I think we had a long day yesterday & with it being our first day of home schooling our brains were dead!

  • Sanjeda Choudhury Posted 23rd March 2020 10:06 pm

Hi Fazal has understood the English question thanks ? although we are still struggling to understand the maths question (have tried the concrete apparatus method, still cant figure out the answer) thanks for the help.

    • Miss Ryan Posted 24th March 2020 11:43 am

Is it the 58-7 question? If so, the picture is only there if you need it. I’m confident Fazal could answer that one without the apparatus πŸ™‚
