Library visits

Over the past two weeks, years one to six have visited Longsight Library and Learning Centre. They have had a tour of the facilities, listened to a story or riddle, and found out how libraries work. Each child was very excited to choose a book to loan and to share in their class library. Many parents came along to support their children and the school. Each class will be re-visiting the library every half term to exchange their books. This will foster their love of reading.

After their initial visit, many children were excited to visit the library at the weekend for the Fun Palace.

Keep an eye of for any other activities happening in the library. Here are a couple that might be of interest:

Who doesn’t love visiting the library?

An excellent rhetorical question Sana. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. You’ll love visiting it regularly with school and maybe in your free time too. Happy reading 🙂
