Our phoneme (sound) for today is:
oo
There are two types of oo.
A long oo.
And a short oo.
Today we are going to look at the long oo sound.

Type ‘roll dice’ into Google and use the online dice roller.
Roll the die and read the word that is next to the number you land on.
If you land on the same number again, read the next word along.

Play by yourself or take it in turns with someone in your family.

Maths
Today we are going to be sorting objects.
Let’s start with some fruit. Can you sort this fruit into groups by drawing them in your workbook?
Yes – you can sort them into apples, bananas and oranges like this:
Sometimes, things can be grouped in more than one way.
These children can be grouped into:
children wearing glasses
and children not wearing glasses
They could also be grouped into:
Children with blonde hair
And children with brown hair
Can you think of another way the children could be grouped? Group the children in another way by drawing them in your workbook.
