Wow! What an amazing turnout for our community event!
There was such a buzzing atmosphere throughout the afternoon with so many activities happening around school. You should have seen the queues for the Bee creative area – we think not one child left without a bee being painted on them. Staff and parents joined in too!
The Bee Happy tent had needles knitting away proving very popular with a lot of mums.
The Bee Green station was very busy with lots of reuseable bags and mini bins taken away by families.
There certainly was a lot of action at the Bee Active area – thousands calories that must have been burnt away by just doing lots of great moves – we even saw a few mums joining in which was great!
One parent said ‘We should do these more often!’ and another mum remarked ‘This has been so much fun!’.
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all our staff for helping out on the day, as well as all the families who came along and made it such a success. It definitely felt like we created a special community that afternoon.
