This week in Nursery we have been learning about castles, knights and dragons. Our word of the week is ‘moat’, can your child tell you what it means?
The children have enjoyed sharing a royal meal in our very own St. Agnes castle, can they show you how the royals drink their tea?
Lots of the children enjoyed telling their own story using the princesses, knights, dragons and castle in the small world area. Can your child tell you the name of our Queen, Princes and Princesses?
During a guided activity this week, the children worked in small groups to make their own castle using our junk modelling tools. The castles will be on display on Monday morning, please come and see them and let your child tell you all about how they made their castle.
Next week our big book story is ‘Whatever Next’, this will lead us into learning about space. The children have already told us what they know about the planets in space and they have thought of some good questions for us to explore next week. Enjoy looking at the moon this weekend so your child can tell us the colour/shape and talk about what they have observed on Monday.
