How was your weekend? We hope you are all ready for a new week of learning.

In maths this week, we will continue our White Rose lessons on fractions. We are now on week 2 where we will learn about thirds and equivalent fractions. If you look at the word ‘equivalent’ it has ‘equal’ in it. Can you remember what equal means?

Week 2 Lesson 1 Recognise a third

Little Red Riding Hood is set in the forest. Can you draw a picture of the setting? On your picture label 4 nouns (the name of things). For each noun think of 2 adjectives to make an expanded noun phrase. e.g. pretty, delicate flowers.
