Year 2 Home Learning Wednesday 20th May

Good morning Year Two 🙂

We have a reading activity about a very special man called Captain Tom Moore. You can find out all about him by reading the text and see if you can find the answers to today’s questions. If you met Captain Tom, what one question would you like to ask him?

Captain Tom Text Captain Tom Questions

For today’s maths we will follow Summer Term Week 3, lesson 3. Today we are using related facts, we do a lot of this in school when we look at what we already know to help us work out new facts. You should all be superstars today!

Captain Tom has made history and I am sure children will learn about him in the future. There have been lots of people in history who have become famous for great things. Another example is Rosa Parks. If you would like to find out more about why she is famous, use this lesson:

Don’t forget to let us know what you have learned, Mrs Haggart and I would love to hear from you!

That’s great to hear Husaam, I hope you are well at home. We have new packs ready for your parents to collect after half term. We’ll be sending a new pak every week then so hopefully that will keep you busy.
