Many thanks to all of the children and families that brought all of their tinned food items for our special ‘Harvest Assembly’ on Friday 5th October.
We had an enormous collect for our chosen charity this year and it was wonderful to see so many children attending the assembly with their tins to add to our donation table. We had to take time to thank two children who’s parents had collected lots of tinned produced and wrapped them both carefully into two beautiful hampers.
Collecting for charity like this is apart of our Peace Mala Promise to treat others as we would wish to be treated ourselves and our Rights and Respecting work. We discussed with the children how important it was to give to others, especially those who are less fortunate then ourselves.
