As part of Anti-Bullying Week, on Monday 13th November 2017, we are asking all children to wear odd socks for the day. As we join hundreds of schools across the country and hold an ‘Odd Socks Day for Anti-Bullying Week’.
This day is aimed at early years and primary school children, and encourages young children to wear odd socks, celebrating their uniqueness. Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity for our children to express themselves and appreciate individuality. There is no pressure on the children to wear the latest fashion or for parents to buy new socks. All they have to do to take part is wear odd socks to school, it couldn’t be simpler!
This day is linked to our RRSA Charters and the Peace Mala as we promise ‘To treat others as we wish to be treated ourselves’.
