1C and 1T worked together to find the best material to protect Humpty Dumpty from cracking when he fell off the wall.
We carried out a test on 6 different materials – tinfoil, paper, bubble wrap, tissue, cotton wool and wooden sticks. We made sure it was a fair test by putting the same size eggs into the same size bags with the same amount of each material.
Before carrying out the test we predicted which material would be best and why. We then made sure every bag was dropped from the same height and in the same way.
Every material apart from one did not protect the egg from cracking. Which do you think it was?
The cotton wool kept Humpty Dumpty safe!
