Reading your comments also cheers me up! If you would like to, you could email your work to us at admin@st-agnes.manchester.sch.uk and we can put it on the website to show your friends.

English
Ask somebody to read the Beegu story to you while you do the actions you have made.
Have another look at the zoo Beegu visited.
You have already written some fantastic sentences describing the animals Beegu saw at the zoo. Now you are going to write some sentences in your home learning book about the noises Beegu heard those animals making.
Your sentences will need to use a verb. Do you remember what a verb is? That is correct, it is a doing word. Here is an example to help you.
The lion is roaring.
The word roaring is a verb. It tells you what the lion is doing.
If you want to challenge yourself could make your sentences more interesting by describing how the lion is roaring. Here is an example to help you.
The lion is roaring loudly.
The word loudly is an adverb – it tells us how the lion is roaring.
If you want an even harder challenge you could add more details to your sentence. Here is an example to help you.
The furry, fierce lion is roaring loudly.

Handwriting
Click on this link to see how to form f.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfoUL9seNhY
– it is only short so you may need to watch it a few times.
Can you remember which letter family f belongs to?
Practise with your magic pencil in the air. Ask someone in your family to put a little bit of flour, salt or sugar (any powder will do) on a plate and practise making f in it.
Now practise writing f on the sheet in your home learning pack. This letter is strange! It is an ascender and a descender so it has a long neck and a long tail! Remember to start above the grey line and finish below it.
Something extra
Practise spelling these words in your home learning book:
so, by, my, here, there
Use them to fill in the missing word in these sentences:

3) ______________ are only ten girls in my class.
4) Please come over __________________ with me.
5) I wore ________________ coat so I would be warm.
Write your own sentences using:
1) so 2) by 3) my 4) here 5) there
