‘Once upon a time, there was a hat seller. My, he had a hat for every occasion – fancy hats for weddings, and broad-brimmed hats to keep the sun from your head and the rain from your face.’
Here are some pictures of some other types of hats that the hat seller might have had.
Chose at least two of the hats and in your home learning book, write some sentences using adjectives (describing words) to describe them. Think about how they look and how they might feel. Do any of them make a noise? Who might wear them? If you want to challenge yourself, try and use conjunctions (joining words) such as and.
