Hello everyone!! It’s the last day of term and here’s our final chance to look at all the fantastic work from this week. We’ve been so impressed by the people who have kept working right up to the end – you must be very strong, motivated people. Well done!!
This week in maths, we were continuing to look at measuring and Sophia has sent us some of the super work she has done on mass. Have a look!
Amna was also measuring but she was working on volume this week. Here you can see what a good job she did.
Amna also sent us a picture of her Friday challenge work. Well done for continuing to challenge yourself Amna!
In English, Sophia sent us a picture of some comprehension she did…
… and she also found lots of ‘f’ and ‘ph’ words for our phonic challenge.
We think Sophia’s really good at finding that sound in words because she has it in her name!
Amna also did some spelling practise this week …
… and a wonderful description of the picture from our Cautious Caterpillar story. You’ve used some superb adjectives Amna, well done!!
We also loved looking at Amna’s work about her year in Year 2 and hearing about what she enjoyed and what she’s looking forward to next year.
What are you looking forward to next year?
Well done to all of you who have done so well to keep up with your learning from home. It hasn’t been easy and you need to say a BIG thank you to the people in your house who have helped and supported you.
Have a lovely holiday and we’ll see you all in September – when you are in Year 3!!! How exciting!!
Take care and be safe!
Miss Oxley & Mrs Haggart
