Home Learning – Wednesday 25th March

Good morning everyone!  It’s another lovely day!  See if you can make some time to play outside if you can today,  Here are the home learning activities for today.  Have fun and take care!

Maths

Choose 5 foods in your kitchen (tins of beans, onions, teabags)

Make a bar chart – which do you have the most of?

(Look at the example below to see how to lay your bar chart out!)

English

Think of a question for each of the following question words;

  • Who?
  • What?
  • Where?
  • When?
  • Why?

Ask some people in your house your questions and write down their answers. See if you can get them to use their imaginations (for example, What would your favourite holiday be like?)

Other Activities

Go outside in the garden and hunt for minibeasts and insects. How many can you find? Can you look them up and find out what they are? See if you can find out what sort of habitat they like to live in. Can you make a habitat for an insect?
