Good morning all! We hope you’re all well this fine, Tuesday morning and that you’re enjoying your homework packs this week? We’ve been sent some super pictures of people’s work again so let’s have a look and see what’s been going on.
You’ve all been working very hard in maths to weigh and measure things accurately which is a very important life skill. Amna did a great job of measuring carefully against a ruler…
…and here you can see that both Amna and Sophia have been doing a super job in calculating the mass of different objects.
Sophia also worked hard to complete last week’s Friday challenge which was pretty tricky, so very well done Sophia!
In English, Amna did a lot of work on spelling and grammar last week by finding lots of words beginning with ‘w’ or ‘wh’ in our phonic challenge…
… and by using apostrophes correctly. Good job, Amna!
She also wrote a brilliant description of a monster. Doesn’t he sound amazing?
Both Sophia and Amna also did some beautiful work on our Magic Box topic. First of all they wrote down all of their favourite things that they would put into a magic box..
… and then they used them to create their poems. We think the poems are wonderful and so imaginative. Great work, girls!
A big thank you to all the people who sent in their cat pictures. They look amazing and (as always!) really made us smile!
And last of all, a great big….
to Sophia who has been celebrating this week and sent us a picture of her scrumptious looking cake!
Doesn’t it look tasty? We were all feeling very hungry after seeing that picture! We hope you had a lovely day, Sophia!
Remember, Friday will be the last day we will be posting your work on the website so remember to send it to
admin@st-agnes.manchester.sch.uk
before then if you want to show it off to everyone.
Have a super day everyone!
