Good morning everyone! We hope you all had a lovely weekend?
Thank you to everyone who has sent us pictures of their work – it’s great to see all the things you’ve been learning! Have a look below to see what’s been going on.
In maths, lots of you were doing calculations with money this week. We were very impressed with the results!
In English, lots of you were finding out about compound words (words that are made by joining two words together). Sophia sent us a picture of her compound words…
… while Nafiun and Ayaan sent us pictures of their word sums. Thank you!
Lots of you have been busy doing science experiments this week and we’ve really enjoyed seeing the results! Humaan had a go at making his own lava lamp – look how bubbly it was!
Sophia and Obaid experimented with different materials to see which would be the best for a waterproof umbrella (we could all certainly do with an umbrella this week!) Here you can see Sophia’s materials…
… and here you can see Sophia and Obaid’s results! Did you predict the same results?
Some people have also been learning about life cycles this week. Obaid and Sophia created fantastic diagrams of a butterfly’s life cycle. Do you remember all the different stages?
Lastly, we want to say a big well done and thank you to Obaid who sent in this fantastic riddle that he made up. Can you work out what creature he is describing? We loved trying to work it out!
Remember you can send us pictures of your work to

We love seeing what you’ve been up to and showing you photos off on the website.
Have a good day everyone and happy learning!
