Times Table Rockstars Record Competition

Times Table Rock Stars!

Good afternoon everyone.

Hope you are all well and excited for the weekend!

Thank you to everyone who took part again this week in attempting to beat the current record, which was set last week by Nabil (6C). Nabil had a score 57 correct answers and a speed of 1.05 seconds per question.

Again this week ,we have had many attempts to beat the current record and I thank you all for getting involved. We have had some incredible scores submitted and you should all be very proud.

Your scores just keep getting better and better and the competition is fierce.

So the moment we have all been waiting for…

With a score of 76 correct answers and a speed of 0.79 seconds per question, and STILL our record holder….. Nabil (6T)!! What an unbelievable score Nabil, very impressive! Getting a score of 76 must have taken some practice? I think this is going to be a very, very hard score to beat!! Incredible speed and what’s even more impressive is that you didn’t get any incorrect answers. I will be very interested to see what score you post next week…I am predicting 82! Well done indeed! 🙂

In second place, with a score of 63 correct answers and a speed of 0.95 seconds per question is Saima (3T). Another amazing score submitted this week Saima. You are able to answer your times tables questions in less than a second which is a fantastic achievement indeed. You should be super proud of yourself as your teacher is super proud of you! 🙂 I look forward to seeing you beat your current personal best again next week!

In third place this week, with a score of 54 correct answers and a speed of 1.11 seconds per question is Aayaan (5C). Another great score posted Aayaan and I am so happy that you beat your personal best of 53 from last week! Keep playing and keep improving. I am excited to see if you can beat your score of 54 next week and who knows, take the record from Nabil! 🙂

In fourth place, with a score of 53 correct answers and a speed of 1.12 seconds per question is Hanniya (2C). As our youngest competitor I am so, so impressed with the scores you are posting Hanniya. If you keep performing the way you are then I have no doubt that you will be a future record holder of St Agnes. You should be super proud of yourself. Keep up the amazing work and I look forward to seeing your score next week!

Who thinks they can beat Nabil’s score of 76? If so, get rocking and send your scores to our school email address.

I have a funny feeling that you will need to have a score of 80+ next week if you want to be the record holder!! ?

Remember, records are there to be beaten!!

Until next week…

Mr McDowell 🙂
