Year 2 Home Learning Thursday 21st May

Good morning Year 2. I hope you all enjoyed the sunshine yesterday, it looks like another lovely day today so I hope you all get to go outside at some point or enjoy it through the window.

Our English today will use BBC bitesize. This is a great lesson which helps us with our handwriting and using describing words. Can anyone remember the correct name for a describing word?

Use your describing words to describe a monster. My monster has six long, spindly arms and three googly, oval eyes.

In today’s maths lesson we will be adding and subtracting ones. I wonder how many different words you can think of for add and subtract? We are using Summer term, week 3, lesson 4.

Yesterday you used letters in our challenge. Today we have a number challenge for you! How many ways can you make 37? Remember you can use all 4 maths operations (+ – x and division) and you can even use more than two numbers. I wonder who will find the most number sentences?

Have a lovely day 🙂
