Year 2 Home Learning Tuesday 19th May

Hello everybody!

Did you know it is Mental Health Awareness Week this week? This means it is a great time to think about taking care of ourselves and others. I am trying to do one kind thing for someone else every day, it makes them feel good and makes me feel good too. Maybe you could try helping someone at home or just telling them how much you love them.

Something which always makes me feel happy is cake! Our English lesson today is all about a brilliant book called Cake so hopefully you will enjoy it.

In maths we are now on Summer Term Week 3, lesson 2. Today we will compare number sentences with the < and > symbols. I hope you can remember what they mean.

If you finish all of your work, I have a challenge for you!

How many words can you make using the letters in this grid? What is the smallest word you can make? I wonder if anyone can find the nine letter word? Good luck!
