Home Learning in Year 3 – Friday 22nd May :-)

Happy Friday everyone!

Today is the last day of the half term! This means for the next week we won’t be putting up any new tasks as we believe it is important for both you and your families to have a bit of a rest!

The guidance from the government has changed slightly which means we are allowed out to exercise more than once a day so this coming week is the perfect opportunity for you to get out into your local parks for a nice walk with the family!

Even though we won’t be posting new tasks, Mr McDowell and I will still be checking the website for comments throughout the day so if you need us for anything we will be around.

Today’s home learning is as follows:

Maths: Summer Term Week 2 Friday Challenge There are a few challenges available on this page so you can save some for next week if you think you will get bored!

English: Bitesize Book Club

Art: Use one of the new skills you have learned this week to create a ‘final piece’. This could be something like a picture of your street drawn using the perspective work, or a collection of 3D shapes shaded to reflect the direction of the sunlight. We would love to see your finished masterpieces! Send us a photo to admin@st-agnes.manchester.sch.uk

Here is Sufyaan’s impressive shading sheet:

I think I made yesterday’s riddle a little bit too tricky for you all. Even Mr McDowell couldn’t work it out and I gave him at least 2 clues! Have a think over the next week and see if you can work it out…

Happy half term Year 3!
