Home Learning in Year 3 Monday 18th May :-)

Good morning Year 3 ๐Ÿ™‚

We have made it to the last week of the half term, and what a half term it has been!

Live Today For Tomorrow It Will All Be History: Inspirational ...

I know from having spoke to some of you that the boredom is starting to set in now but just think, you are all experiencing a significant part of history that future generations will learn about!

Today’s home learning is as follows:

Maths: Summer Term Week 2 Lesson 1 – Add Fractions

(Remember: your will need to scroll down to the right week!)

English: For your English work today I would like you to record everything that is happening for you at the moment and how that is different from your ‘normal’ routine. How are you feeling? What has changed? What has been the biggest difference for you? Think carefully about all the small things too! In a few years time we will forget what this moment in history felt like for us so it is important to have a record of it. If you can, send me a paragraph in the comments about it so I can put it together in a booklet. It will be interesting to look back on when you are where the current Year 6’s are now and ready to spread your wings and fly!

Art Week!

I’m sure it won’t come as a surprise to find out this is one of my personal favourite subjects! This week we are going to be focusing on drawing. Today you are going to need your ‘Shading Circles’ sheet out of your home learning pack. Have a go at the different techniques shown. Use this video to help you if you need it.

Don’t forget to leave a comment to let us know you are here! We will be around during the day to reply to any you leave us and don’t forget you can send us pictures here for us to share on the class pages.

Happy Monday!
