Miss Ryan what is a compound noun?

    • Miss Ryan Posted 26th March 2020 8:27 pm

A compound noun is where you add another word – usually an adjective – to a noun to make a new noun. For example: tooth + paste = toothpaste or hair + cut = haircut πŸ™‚
