This week has been a strange week in Year 3.
As we were beginning to settle back into the routine of term time we had an unexpected visitor that gave us all a fright!
After break time on Tuesday, we returned to the classroom and found quite a mess! Some of the furniture had been knocked over, the working walls had great big rips in them and the floor was littered with straw and burnt paper. Even more alarmingly, there appeared to be an egg sat in the middle of our reading area!
After checking with Miss Lynton that it was safe to be in the classroom, we checked the CCTV cameras and saw that a dragon had visited our classroom!
What a surprise!
We decided to ring our local university’s Dragon department for some advice and they came to collect the egg from us. We were a bit concerned it would hatch in our classroom during a Maths or English lesson!
We look forward to finding out what happens to the eggs next…
