School’s out for summer

We’ve finally reached the end of our school year, and what a busy year it’s been in 4T.

Our best achievement this year has to be every child in our class achieving a distance award for swimming. Many of the children hadn’t been swimming before September, and for them to gain either 5m, 10m, 25m or even 50m is an amazing achievement. Mrs Warrilow and Miss Gunning are really proud of you.

Don’t forget, Manchester swimming pools let pupils who attend Manchester schools in for free, so if you want to keep on practicing your skill, or show it off to family, then get down to your local pool.

Our school BEE for the Bee in the City art trail is in Longsight Library, why don’t you go along to see it and take part in the library’s summer reading challenge too?

Mrs Warrilow and Miss Gunning would like to thank those of you who kindly sent in cards and gifts at the end of the term. We appreciate all of them, it’s very thoughtful of you.

We hope that you enjoy your summer break, have safe travels wherever you go, and most of all, have fun 🙂
