In year 5C, 3 students went to Withington Art gallery to take part in some craft activities. They embroidered trees and sketched them, and in the future, they are going to participate in a mushiera and , working with a poet, they will learn how to cook the poet’s favourite curries , fish etc.
We also went to another school and we wrote on a cream coloured banner the quote ‘ eat, share, talk, care ‘ We wrote it in different languages : Korean, Japanese, Lao, Greek, etc. We sprayed painted on them in red, green and black. This is because we are celebrating world language day and the colours were based on the Bangladesh flag, the colours are red and green.
In Spanish, we have learned how to say hello ( hola ) how are you (como estas) and how to answer.
In maths we are learning how to multiply by 10, 100 and 1000. We used a game that made us multiply to reach a target number. It was a fun activity.
Fortunately, we have finished the story we were memorising and now we are using it to help us with our own written work.
