5c’s busy week!

Hi! Myself and Maliha are responsible for updating our class website. Each week we will be letting you know what’s been going on in our class and school.

Today year 5 have had their deadline for their Ancient Egyptian projects. We have had amazing ideas and we had time to go round the class looking at everyone’s different projects. Our teacher took pictures with our projects and she even took a class photo. Here are a few of them:

Also we have been making caskets for an art project to be displayed at the Manchester Whitworth Art Gallery. About 9000 pupils are taking part in this. You can see the caskets on Friday 26th of October from 10 am to 4 pm. Our caskets are a type of box that gives information about the person that made it.

Next week, Year 5 will be doing a writing assessment inspired by a video we have been watching called Wing .

Also, next week , there will be parent consultations for Year 5 on Wednesday.

Finally, school has bought into a website called Mathletics and we will get our logins very soon. It’s a fun and competitive way to practise maths skills and a lot of people are looking forward to using it.
