On Monday, three ladies came to year 5C to talk about a book called The honoured guest. It was about a man who heard about a party given by a really rich person. When the man arrived at the party they didn’t let him in because he was wearing his ordinary clothes and looked poor. He went back home to change. When he came back the bouncers let him in immediately. Everyone was amazed. At the end he had played a trick on the people at the party. This book was by children from another school in year 4.
On Wednesday year 5C had their first ever recorder lesson! We learnt about not blowing hard we had to whisper to create a beautiful sound. We all performed our first notes brilliantly!
