On Tuesday we visited Didsbury Northern Tennis Club. There was a tournament running with players from all over the world. When we got there and we did tennis skills for 45 minutes. Then we watched a tennis match (doubles).The winner of the tournament gets a ‘wild card’ to compete at Wimbledon.
YEAR 5 WANT TO SAY A HUGE THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM.
On Wednesday 6 children were chosen from year 5 to go to WH Smith to choose £500 of books. This was donated by the literacy trust because we have been working with them.
On Wednesday Y5T went to Longsight library to change their books.
Next Wednesday we’re having our St Agnes’s got talent final .
Next Friday there’s going to be a Bee Blessed event. After lunch we are going to have an Eid party in our classrooms . At home time were we are holding an event for everyone to attend. You can do a football challenge,Indian dance,Face painting,Large art piece, a peacemala stall,slime stall,mehndi stall and throwing a wet sponge at a teacher. It will start at 2:30 onwards. Please bring your family to enjoy this event.
