We will soon be starting a new initiative to give your child daily practise of a wide variety of Mathematical skills.
Each child in Year 5 will have a Can-Do Maths book filled with lots of questions covering all areas of Mathematics. Each morning, during Registration, they will complete the questions. At the end of the week they will split into small groups to check and discuss their answers with a teacher. The children will try to beat their weekly scores and become a Can-Do Dynamo.
This will really help the children to remember the many different Mathematical facts and processes they have been taught and will build their confidence across the different Mathematical topics.
