Year 5 had a great time on the 24th of January celebrating Chinese New Year.
We were given the exciting task of making vegetable chow mein. We found out that in the Chinese culture, to bring in the New Year, families get together and share food in order to celebrate. Coming together and sharing food is a common custom across a variety of cultures and religions.
