Happy Easter Holiday from Class 5T.

This week we have had great fun hunting for Easter eggs, following clues around the school. Thank you to Miss Linton for organising this fun event.

We have held our School Council elections this week. The candidates presented their ideas and reasons why they thought they’d be a good person for the job. They had gone to the trouble of producing PowerPoints and speeches, which were very impressive and informative. We then voted. Well done to everyone who nominated themselves, and congratulations to Tahmida , who is now our new Class representative on the School Council.

There are lots of things to look forward to next half term.

Our new topic is called Alchemy Island. An alchemist is someone who tries to change ordinary materials into something amazing. We’re sure our topic will be simply magical!

We have some Maths, Science and English holiday homework to complete to help us prepare for next term.

Next term Year 5 are going to be trying really hard to have excellent attendance in school. There will be extra incentives to encourage us to be in school every day. Come on Year 5, we can do it!

In learning lounge, over the past few weeks, we have been making stop-motion movies. We built backgrounds and alien characters.

Have a great holiday everyone.
