Yesterday on Thursday it was the roof top carnival for children with 100% attendance this term …
The roof top carnival was for the people that were in school all term. There was a popcorn stall, also, there was a crisp stall,raffle ticket stall and a fizzy drink stall. There were tokens and you could get a drink, popcorn or crisps. There were face paints that were very colourful and nearly everyone had face paints on. If you won a game you’d get a token to ‘buy’ treats. There were 316 people at the rooftop carnival- WOW! Yara , Hasnain and Aiza won a gift from the raffle. Musfira won a sloth called Sid. Yara and Hasnain won a b-ball desk top toy and Aiza won nail polish.
BOOK EVENT
The book event was really good! We all were given a book of our choosing , the books came from WH Smiths. The money came from the National Literacy Trust, who are a group who are passionate about young people reading. In the afternoon, we had a little party where we celebrated reading and had time to look at or new books. We’ve now got some great holiday reading!
