Recently, SIAMS inspectors came to our school and they said we have an outstanding report. They went around our school and looked at our work that we have done in RE time. They also talked to us about collective worship. Collective worship is when we have time to write in our RE book and to pray to God. Well done to everyone.
HUGE congratulations to ZYMAL, who has won the competition to have her bee design made into a statue that will become part of a bee trail in Manchester. Her ideas were absolutely amazing, and we are all looking forward to visiting her design when we visit Manchester.
And here’s another b!
Year 5 have learnt how to play note b on our recorders and to read a stave. The note ‘b’ sits on the middle line of a stave.
We went on purple mash (which is a learning website) on Wednesday and we got our logins from Mrs Mirza. We played on purple mash after our recorder lesson, made our own characters and then we went on 2code. We can use this site at home too!
This week in Literacy we have been learning about Pathetic Fallacy- this means when you write using the weather to build atmosphere.
To celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Megan, 5T have been asked to think about what we’d like to do to celebrate. So get your thinking caps on and come up with some great ideas.
We wish all Year 6 the best as they do their SATs next week.
