Winning awards and lonely bears!

This amazing week, has been filled with joviality for everyone including teachers.

First let’s start of with the firework assembly on Thursday. This Thursday the whole of the school came downstairs to the ginormous hall 1 for a firework safety assembly. School had arranged an important assembly with the police to tell the whole school about safety on Bonfire night and Halloween but sadly they couldn’t come. However, we talked in our class about how to stay safe around fireworks and bonfires.

Rights Respecting level 1 award.

On Friday 3rd of November Mrs Brown and Mrs Lynton called the school for another assembly about something so exciting. We are now the proud holders of a Rights Respecting level one award.

Over the next few weeks we will be learning about refugees in the world, inspired by the film Paddington bear. We will be thinking about their rights and about what life is like when you have to leave your home.

Have a safe weekend and see you all on Monday.
