Health and Well-being:

Today, we would like you to practice a calming breathing technique. You can use this technique any time you feel stressed, worried, sad, upset or angry. I find it really helps me when I need to calm down or help regulate my feelings. Sit up nice and tall, either on a chair or on the floor. Breathe in deeply for 5 seconds and hold it for 5 seconds. Breathe out hard for 8 seconds and repeat 5 times. Focus on how your body feels when you breathe in and when you breathe out.

Today, we would like you to complete the sheet called ‘Area of rectangles’. If you haven’t got your pack, the sheet is linked below. You can complete this either on the sheet itself or in your book.
