Year 5 Home Learning – Wednesday 8th July

Good morning Year 5,

We hope you had a lovely day yesterday and are ready for another day of learning!

Please remember to leave us a comment about the work or if you have any questions or issues.

Miss Khatun and Miss Miah’s group please look at Miss Weir’s post for your work today.

Health and Well-being:

Today, we would like you to think about and note down in your book ways you manage stress. Life can be very stressful at times and we need to make sure we have ways to deal with that. I like to play and coach sport and I use this as a tool to help me manage my stress.

PSHE:

Today we have added an extra activity for you to do. Please find the sheet called ‘My Control Activity Sheet‘. We would like you to have a think before you complete the sheet about the things you can and cannot control at the moment. I have completed this activity this morning and noticed how important it was and want to share it with you. It is important for us to think about (worry about) the things we can control and not the things we can’t.

Maths:

Today, we would like you to complete the sheet called ‘Equivalent Fractions’. If you haven’t got your pack, the sheet is linked below. You can complete this either on the sheet itself or in your book.
