Church visit and Outright Campaign

This week we’ve been learning about air pollution around the world for our Outright campaign. We really enjoyed learning about all the effects and finding facts about air pollution. Here are some of the astounding facts we discovered:

Laiba even did some extra research at home to put into her persuasive arguments!

Did you know, unfortunately over 40,000 people die in the UK from lung cancer, heart disease, heart attacks and many more diseases, sometimes due to cruel air pollution?

Church Visit.

This week we went back to church for our christingle service where we made our own Christingles.

On the way back from church an unusual event happened, two of the students from year 6 stumbled upon a £20 note. After school, our teacher went back to where we found it and, luckily, found the owner of the £20 pound note. He was very appreciative. We had used the British value of honesty to make somebody’s day better.

Next week……

Hold your breath because it’s time to get preparing for our assessment week next week, so get your brains buckled up because we are going to exercise our intelligent minds. We have been working so hard we are looking forward to showing off our skills.

On Friday 14th it will be our Christmas jumper day so get raiding your closets because it’s time to turn into the Christmas spirit.

And finally…

On Wednesday we will be enjoying our Christmas dinner.
