Church’s exhibition of remembrance artefacts.

This week we went to ST Agnes Church to see their Remembrance exhibition, and we found out some amazing fact

from WWII and  WWII.

This is a gas-mask from WWII used to protect soldiers from horrible, toxic gasses from the German army.

This is a Memorial for all the soldiers that died who came from the Longsight area.

This is an photo of an army hat (helmet) that they wore in the war to protect themselves from bullets fired from German guns.

This photo has different colour poppies that represent people in the war.

A Red poppy represents the soldier that died in the war.

Purple poppies represent the animals who died in the war.

Black poppies represent the civilians who died in the war.

White poppies are a sign of peace.

This a verse from the bible that is talking about the great sacrifice of those who died for others.

This is a display of peace symbols.

We’d like to thank St Agnes church for letting us visit their exhibition and for all the hard work people have put into putting this display together.
