Happy Mellow Yellow day! Today is about looking after our mental health- doing things which relax us and make us happy, and also talking to someone if we are feeling worried or sad.

If you are feeling a bit low today, try these tips to help:

  • do something you enjoy at home: drawing, reading, dancing around your room to your favourite song, practising football skills in the garden, writing to a friend/family member.
  • write a list of all the things you are thankful for in your life- this helps you to see that although things may be different at the moment, there is still a lot that is great about life.
  • do something nice for the people you live with- helping others makes us feel good inside, as well as lifting their spirits!
  • find a trusted adult and have a chat with them about how you are feeling- remember, your happiness is very important to your family and your teachers and we are here to listen and help.
