Your English task is to complete the ‘RUBBISH’ comprehension. Look up what the highlighted words mean and write a simple synonym above them to show you understand the word. Then complete the questions underneath.

As always, you MUST be reading with an adult at least 3 times per week and discussing the text afterwords and looking up unknown words.

6T: ‘i’ before ‘e’ except after ‘c’ when the sound made is ‘ee’! This week we are looking at words that have the pattern of ‘cei’ following the exception rule of being straight after the letter ‘c’.
