BEST WEEK EVER!!!!!

This week…

*was our very first decades day.

* we completed our gas masks.

* we finished most of the remembrance rocks.

We had great fun looking at everyone’s costumes on Decades day, and listening to music from different eras. There was even a music quiz for the teachers to test their knowledge of the pop charts through the ages.

In assembly, we got to see everyone’s costumes. The teachers had all made a huge effort and looked fabulous. We learned about school life in the 1930’s and got to sit at old style desks which Mr Lammas has been renovating.

We have some amazing books in 5T about WW2. We are enjoying finding out about what life was like for the soldiers and those left behind during the war.

Next week all classes will be walking down to St Agnes Church to look at their remembrance display.
